However, there's no fooling your trusty tape measure. Simply measure from the underside of the overhang to the floor, subtract 25cm to 30cm which will give you space for your legs.

For an overhang with an underside that is 89 cm to 92 cm from the floor, a counter stools height of 60 cm to 67 cm will allow your guests to eat in complete comfort.
